We are thrilled to begin this exciting journey with you as your child takes their first steps into school life. We carefully plan engaging and meaningful experiences that promote growth in:
Personal, Social, and Emotional Development – Building confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
Literacy – Developing a love for reading, storytelling, and early writing skills.
Mathematics – Exploring numbers, shapes, patterns, and problem-solving through play.
Expressive Arts and Design – Encouraging creativity through art, music, role play, and imaginative activities.
Understanding the World – Sparking curiosity about the world around us through exploration and discovery.
Communication and Language – Expanding vocabulary and language skills through conversations and storytelling.
Physical Development – Strengthening fine and gross motor skills through active play and movement.
This year in English, we will be exploring exciting texts such as ‘Let’s all Creep through Crocodile Creek’ and ‘Supertato’ where we will explore local heroes. We will be exploring the natural world around us and we will learn about important people in our community.
We are excited to work in partnership with you to ensure your child feels happy, safe, and motivated to learn. Together, we will make this year a joyful and memorable start to their educational journey.
